Dear Roosevelt Elementary School No.7,

We hope this letter finds you well! At Roosevelt Elementary School No.7, we are committed to providing every student with the best possible education, and one of the most important factors in a child’s success is consistent attendance. When students attend school regularly, they build strong learning habits, stay on track with their studies, and develop the social skills needed to thrive in and out of the classroom.

We are excited to introduce monthly attendance rewards to encourage and celebrate great attendance! Each month, students with excellent attendance will have the opportunity to earn special incentives.  Students must receive perfect attendance for the month with no tardies to earn the monthly rewards.

March Rewards: Homework pass

April Rewards: Movie in the gym

May Rewards: Extra recess time

June Rewards:  Glow dance party

We understand that occasional absences due to illness or emergencies are unavoidable. However, we encourage families to prioritize school attendance whenever possible. If your child is facing challenges impacting their ability to attend school, please contact us—we are here to support you!

Thank you for your continued support.

Dr. Charles Bonanno and the Attendance Committee
